IMG_1998S: I told myself I needed to take a hiatus.  So I did.  I’ve been resting, relaxing, exploring.  Enjoying every moment as it comes without speculation.  The quiet holidays in my Grandmother’s wake came at just the right time.  I needed this.  Did you?  So did I.

A: It’s amazing what happens when we send messages to the universe.  Do you agree?  We are all in charge of our own, but yet we invite opportunities into our lives.  Now it’s back to work.  I’m now tasked with building the digitization systems of our curriculum, so that a student can have a paperless experience while learning science.  A wonderful skill to develop, but my head is still in the clouds from my break.  I have so much BRAND NEW  future to look forward to!  How will I stay down to earth?

F:  In theory, this is the beginning of the rest of my life.  By that logic, every minute is.  I guess this is a great moment we all get to go through in life at some point.  It’s here.  And here.  And here…

A: What is here?  I am.  I am right here.  I have my school, my work, my goals, my dreams.  They are all right here at the moment.  I’m still in Houston, feet on the ground.  Despite some folks’ surprise, I’m not in a hurry to move, only travel.  I told myself to use this time to build the next best step, the next best experience.  I understand that asking for anything else is futile.

R:  So in Houston I am.  For now.  My head out of the clouds, my feet on the ground, for now.  I have work to do.  I have everything I have ever asked for, and all I could even ask for is the health and safety to see the next opportunities.  So it is said.  Universe, hear me now.  I am here, for now.  Is now enough for now?

I:  Although… I did fly.  If only for the briefest of moments, I flew.  I didn’t ask to fly, but there I was, feet off the ground.  I’m telling you, it was wonderful.
